National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung on August 9 in Ha Noi received Vice Chairman of Russian State Duma Melnikov Ivan Ivanovich who is on a working visit to Việt Nam.
NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung said he is pleased with fine developments in the strategic cooperation partnership between Việt Nam and Russia which generate benefits to the both sides.

Mr. Nguyen Sinh Hung hoped that the Russian Parliament will continue to boost cooperation with its Vietnamese counterpart in exchanging lawmaking experience and making practical contributions to strengthening the friendship between the two countries.
For his part, Melnikov Ivan Ivanovich spoke highly of the positive developments of the bilateral cooperation in various fields, including politics, culture and socio-economics.
The cooperation between the two parliaments is developing strongly in line with the two countries’ cooperation agreement, he said.
Earlier on the same day, the Duma Vice Chairman held talks with a Vietnamese NA delegation led by Vice Chairman Uông Chu Lưu./.
